Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Perlis Prof. Dr. Zaliman Sahli visited University of Yamanashi

On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zaliman Sauli of Universiti Malaysia Perlis and two other Associate Professors visited University of Yamanashi and held a signing ceremony for the Master’s Dual Degree Program agreement. This agreement is an enhancement of the existing Dual Degree Program Agreement for doctoral students? between Universiti Malaysia Perlis and University of Yamanashi to a Master’s program.
Following the signing ceremony, a meeting was held at the Kofu campus to exchange opinions on future collaboration between the two universities and the dual degree program. The meeting attendees included President Kazuhiko Nakamura, Executive Director Xiaoyang Mao (in charge of global promotion), Prof. Hiromitsu Nishizaki, Director of the Centre for the Promotion of Internationalization, and Professor Kentaro Go(Councilor, faculty of engineering ).
Subsequently, meetings were held with Universit of Malaysia Perlis students of our university and who are studying at the university of Yamanashi and made an inspection tour of the prefecture.
Through this visit, it is hoped that further student exchange and academic exchange between our university and Universiti Malaysia Perlis will be promoted.
