Engineering faculty students participated in International Exchange Camp in Sichaun University
Students from Engineering faculty participated in “2016 Summer International Exchange Camp” in Sichuan University, one of our oldest partner universities located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.
9 students from Department of Computer Science and Engineering joined the program named “Hello, World!” organized by Software Engineering college of Sichuan University during July 3rd to July 13th. “Hello, World!” involves various activities such as International Exchange Workshop, Programing Competition, facility tour of a software-developing company, and also lectures about Chinese culture and history.
4 students from Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering joined the program named “Understanding and Improving Outdoor Environment for Children” organized by Architecture and Environment college of Sichuan University, which was took place from July 2rd to July 11th. Students from University of Sheffield and Chiba University also joined “Understanding and Improving Outdoor Environment for Children” program. All the students were divided into internationally mixed teams to conducted field surveys in various districts in Chengdu and design play grounds for children.
